Alan Knapp is Director, Microelectronics Market for Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC. In this role, he is responsible for identifying industry ultrapure / waste water challenges and developing solutions for customers in the Semiconductor and Solar markets. 

Mr. Knapp has been with Evoqua since 2000 in a number of customer interfacing positions, including Key Account Management and Strategic Marketing. Alan has tackled several international assignments. Singapore, where he was responsible for the development of the Semiconductor and Solar markets for Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC in Asia from 2008 thru 2010. He has been active with water, waste water, solutions and products in the industrial market since 1984, including the power and pharmaceutical markets, with a focus on semiconductor applications since 1995. 

Alan has a Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma from Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario, along with several accreditations with ASME and ISO. Alan is also an active member of the International Roadmap for Devices and Systems (IDRS) committees, formally ITRS. He is also a member of the SEMI organization and a co moderator at the GWI Ultrapure Water Conference.
