Mr CHAU joined the Water Supplies Department (WSD) in 1988.  

Since then, he has worked in various Divisions and Branches of WSD on all facets of waterworks: water resources planning (including importation of raw water from the Mainland of China), planning, design and construction of water infrastructure, operation & maintenance of water supply and distribution systems, asset management, water loss management and customer services.
