Juan Carlos Córdova Lizárraga is currently the General Manager of the Regional Water Utility SEDAPAR S.A. which operates in Arequipa, Peru, with more than 700 employees and an annual billing of over 45 million dollars. Juan Carlos is considered a Global Water Leader and was invited to participate in the Global Water Leaders summit meetings in Paris (2018) and London (2019). 

A Civil Engineer by training, JuanCarlos also holds a Master’s Degree in Social Management, a Certificate in Machine Learning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is also a certified neurolinguistic coach. Furthermore, he has a Specialization in Financial Management, Arbitrage and Public Contract Management. Outside of his role as the General Manager of SEDAPAR, Juan Carlos is a part-time faculty member at San Martin de Porres University, an experienced speaker, and column writer on themes related to Management and Water and Sanitation Engineering.
