Mr Guilherme Albuquerque is partner and head of infrastructure Investment at Navi Capital, an investment firm with US$ 1,8 bi of Aum.
Prior to joining Navi, Mr Albuquerque worked at the Brazilian National Development Bank (BNDES) as specialist in infrastructure, credit and regulation from 2009 and June-2021. At BNDES, he first worked for 7 years in the area of credit for urban infrastructure (corporate and project finance). As of 2016, he led the water and sanitation national concession program, contemplating more than R$75 billion in investments. In this capacity, he was responsible for the CEDAE project, the largest infrastructure concession in Brazil, recently tendered. He also worked on the structuring of projects in highways, urban mobility, water security, health, public security and others.
Between 2003 and 2008, he worked as a consultant at Accenture, having carried out projects in the Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors. Guilherme is a production engineer graduated from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), holds a master in Finance and Business Economics from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC.
