Utility Performance

Digital Agility: Utility deep-dives

Wednesday 9th June, 8:00am-9:45am BST

This meeting will bring together an international group of utilities, showcasing both recently-concluded projects and each utility’s ‘next big thing’. Discussion will cover both technical and organisational challenges, covering technology choices and on-the-ground experiences of implementation. The discussion will dig into where utilities find their greatest challenges and opportunities in digital, highlighting their diversity of experience, but also finding the common threads that run through their varying experiences:

  • Applying digital twins to leak detection, asset management, and other operations processes
  • Challenges and opportunities in integrating business processes with operating processes, for example using customer meter data for leak detection. Touches on cybersecurity and data privacy challenges
  • Digitisation/automation of business processes and customer services
  • Data sharing between utility – the what, how and when of effective open data schemes
